Data Infrastructure Role
You will architect and maintain a hybrid on-premises and cloud-based data platform.
The systems you build will ingest, store, and serve large amounts of financial data—reliably and with low latency.
Your work will directly support trading, research, and operations by ensuring data is accurate, timely, and accessible.
Data Engineering & Infrastructure
* Design and build scalable, high-performance data infrastructure across on-prem and cloud.
* Develop real-time and batch-oriented data pipelines for market data ingestion.
* Integrate and manage data from internal systems and external vendors with a focus on reliability and quality.
* Implement best practices around data governance, access control, monitoring, and observability.
* Collaborate with traders, researchers, and developers to align data systems with business needs.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using modern DevOps and IaC tools.
* Assist and mentor others working on data pipelines and orchestration.
* Provide production support, including out-of-hours assistance when needed.
* Continuously improve system observability, monitoring, and alerting.
* Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for mission-critical data services.
Requirements
* Degree in Maths, Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable experience.
* Strong understanding of distributed systems, data storage, and streaming technologies.
* Proficiency with Linux, networking, and performance tuning.
* Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP).
* Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
* SQL and data modelling skills.
* Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure as code.
* Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
* Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
