Job Title: Residential Life Coordinator
Apart from leading community programs, you will be responsible for promoting student welfare and involvement in residential life. To achieve this, the successful candidate will need to work collaboratively with students, academic staff and other University departments.
About the Role
This is a leadership position that involves working closely with our Residential Support team to develop initiatives that foster a strong sense of community within our residences. As part of this role, you will need to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, both on-site and remotely, to build relationships and promote student engagement.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance the student experience in residential communities;
* Collaborate with colleagues across the University to promote student wellbeing and participation in campus life;
* Support student leaders in developing their skills and confidence through various training and development opportunities;
* Manage conflicts and issues arising within the residence, ensuring that they are resolved in a fair and respectful manner;
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
* A Bachelor degree in a relevant field (such as education, social sciences or community development);
* Proven experience in community development, leadership or management roles;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* High-level organizational and time management skills;
