Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our organisation. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to deliver a consistently high standard of clinical service to clients in residential aged care settings.
* You will assist in delivering all physiotherapy services in accordance with our operating procedures and policies.
* You will provide services to RAC clients in accordance with the allied health professionals treatment plan
* You will transport residents to and from therapy sessions and appointments
* You will set up and pack away the physiotherapy gym, including cleaning both the area and equipment
* You will collect referrals and other administrative tasks as guided by the physiotherapists
* You will order prescribed equipment
* You will run exercise groups and programs
* You will support initiatives to meet client expectations
* You will consult with the physiotherapist or occupational therapist in relation to adaptations, changes, and progressions of treatment plans for clients as appropriate
