As the Security Supervisor, you will coordinate and oversee the manned security services of Cairns Convention Centre, to ensure safety to all occupants and assets.
You will
* Manage the security team
* Contractor management of the external security provider and other contracts
* Manage CCTV system, access control system and car park management system
* Assist in the management of emergency services and evacuation procedures for the Centre
* Oversee the management of the Security Control Room.

About you

* You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership security role preferably within the events or corporate security sector
* You will enjoy working flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
* You will hold a Current 1 Security License (unarmed, monitoring and crowd control) and a certificate II or III in Security Operations
* You will have thorough knowledge of Security and WHS legislations
