Schedule
* Shifts between school zone hours: 8:00–9:30 AM and 2:30–4:00 PM.
* Minimum one‐hour shift available Monday to Friday during the school term.
Responsibilities
* Act as a Road Safety Hero, ensuring safety for children, parents, teachers and local motorists.
* Serve as a familiar face at schools and assist families.
* Respond to safety incidents, maintain communication with school staff and the community.
* Stay alert to potential dangers and enforce safe crossing practices.
* Show up reliably for shifts, regardless of weather.
Qualifications
* Minimum 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
* Willingness to obtain or update a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and Health Assessment.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work with children on roads.
* Reliable and prepared to deliver in good or bad weather.
* Training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
