Job Description
We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified aviation technicians who can assist in maintaining and repairing the Apache rotary-wing aircraft in a defence environment. This opportunity offers candidates an experience to retrain on world-class attack helicopter systems with comprehensive classroom and practical instruction. The successful candidate will have opportunities to work on current and upcoming projects to maintain, service and support these aircraft.
Candidates must be able to obtain a Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) as well as possess a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent trade qualification. We also require the ability to use initiative, prioritise tasks and work under tight timeframes with minimal supervision. Additionally, demonstrated success in developing effective working relationships within complex organisational structures is desirable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* MAML licence holder with A3 Category
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent trade qualification
* Demonstrated ability to use initiative, prioritise tasks and work under tight timeframes
* Sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures and documentation
