Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in API integrations to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of system integrations, data flows, and technical architectures, and will be comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments. Exposure to cloud and container technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Analyze and document API integrations (REST/SOAP), including request/response mappings, error handling, and data transformations
• Collaborate with architects and developers on system design, integration flows, and data models
• Support API testing, integration testing, and UAT by validating requirements and assisting with defect triage
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the development lifecycle
• Assist in post-implementation support and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
:
• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong understanding of API-based integrations and microservices concepts
• Experience documenting APIs using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, or similar
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, logs, and basic code/configurations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have / Plus Skills
• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway)
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes concepts (containers, orchestration, deployments)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Background working with distributed systems or cloud-native architectures
