Community Engagement & Operations Support Worker (Part-Time – 20 hrs/week)
Location: Bucaan Community House, Chigwell
Award: SCHADS Level 2
Bucaan Community House is looking for a warm, organised and community-minded person to join our team in a hands-on support role that helps keep our House be welcoming, active and running smoothly every day.
This varied role combines reception, administration, volunteer support and practical operational assistance. You’ll often be the first face people see when they walk through our doors and will play an important part in creating a friendly, inclusive space for our community and our team.
About the role:
* Welcome visitors and respond to phone and general enquiries
* Provide basic admin and data entry support
* Assist with programs, events and community activities
* Support and encourage volunteers
* Help with room set up, pack down and keeping spaces tidy and welcoming
About you:
* Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Comfortable with basic computer tasks
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in admin, customer service or community settings is desirable
Requirements:
* Working with Vulnerable People Card (or willingness to obtain)
* National Police Check
* Driver’s Licence
