Position Overview
As an Asset Manager, you will drive the performance, reliability, and commercial outcomes of operational assets. You'll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Track and enhance asset performance across both technical and financial metrics
* Align operations with market/trading strategies and performance objectives
* Manage key agreements including O&M contracts, PPAs, and grid connections
* Engage with stakeholders such as AEMO, network providers, lenders, and service partners
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g. NGER, NER, SOCI)
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning
* Deliver regular performance reporting and operational plans
* Support project transitions from delivery into operations and provide ongoing optimisation input
Experience & Requirements
* 5-8+ years' experience in renewable energy, power generation, or related sector
* Strong understanding of both technical and commercial asset management
* Experience managing contracts, financial performance, and operational budgets
* Familiarity with Australian energy market frameworks and compliance requirements
* Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Self-driven with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
