**Mid West Ports Authority is Hiring: Boilermaker Positions**
We are seeking two skilled Boilmakers to join our Maintenance teams on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for the fabrication of new components, repairs to existing port infrastructure, and maintaining plant equipment and machinery to ensure maximum availability for operational purposes.
About the Roles
* The BHF Maintenance Dayshift Boilermaker will report to the Mechanical Supervisor BHF & Rail and be responsible for fabrication and repairs within the specified area.
* The Maintenance Specialist – Boilermaker will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for fabrication and repairs, as well as non-mechanical maintenance activities as required.
Requirements:
* Certificate III Engineering (Metal Fabrication)
* WorkSafe Licence to perform high risk work, or the ability to obtain LF, CN, C6, DG, and MR Licences
* 5 years' experience in relevant industry
* Conversant with various welding machinery and techniques
* Understanding of maintenance programs and schedules
* Able to prioritize and manage concurrent tasks
* Experience working well in a team environment
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems
