Senior User Experience Designer - Lead the design and delivery of large-scale state-wide government programs.
In this role you will take ownership of redesigning complex, high-stakes internal applications that must be intuitive, accessible, and efficient.
You'll apply human-centred design principles across research, journey mapping, prototyping, testing, and iteration—bringing together insights from users, business teams, and developers to create streamlined digital experiences that work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the redesign of internal systems with a focus on usability and efficiency.
Conduct user research and workshops to understand complex workflows and user needs.
Map user journeys, prototype and test solutions to improve system design.
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
About You
5 to 10 years of experience in user experience design for internal applications.
Experience in mission-critical or complex environments where accuracy matters.
Proficient in Figma and familiar with other wireframing and prototyping tools.
