About The Role
The role of Business Support Partner is to lead the management of day-to-day administrative functions on behalf of a group of local Student Support Services Offices. The role is responsible for providing advice and high-quality services relating to human resources management, finance and administration and briefing processes for their designated offices for the directorate of Student Support Services.

The Business Support Partner is responsible for line supervision for their allocated senior administration officers and administration officers in the offices in which they are located. The role is also responsible for the delivery of a specialised range of complex administrative services to support the functions of the directorate. The position will provide complex administrative services including advice, research, management of approval processes, preparation of complex documents, the management of confidential records and the accurate and timely preparation of HR/payroll forms for directorate employees.

The role will also contribute to meeting objectives for their designated offices through supporting the implementation of initiatives and procedures endorsed by the Student Support Services leadership team, undertaking minor projects designed to expedite and improve information flow within the directorate and is key to improving and supporting effective business operations.

Qualifications
Essential:
Nil

Desirable:
Appropriate qualification in administration, management, business, finance or similar.

Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
