About the Role
Working in the domestic and commercial sector, you will be reporting to the Business Manager and working alongside other roofers. You will be part of a team of technicians who understand that open communication, punctuality and reliability sets them apart.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support, coaching and supervision of a team of 4 roofers or more at times
* Install metal roofing panels and fabricate custom roof and guttering pieces in the shop
* Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and multiple electric and air tools following safety procedures
* Measure and cut materials to fit securely around vents, gutters, chimneys and walls
* Prepare roof surfaces by smoothing rough spots for new shingles or waterproofing
* Replace damaged or rotting areas of clients\' roofs
* Run jobs and lead by example
Skills & Experience
* Previous metal roofing experience is essential
* Experience as a roofer and ability to apply
* Strong communication and leadership qualities
* Valid Australian driver's license
* Ability to work autonomously and take direction quickly on the job
