**Location**: Carlos IGA Horsley Park
**Employment Type**: Full-Time = 38 Hours a week, working a rotating roster over 7 days !
**Department**: Produce, Meat & Deli
**About the Role**:
As the **Fresh Department Supervisor**, you will lead the daily operations across our Produce, Meat, and Deli departments. You'll be responsible for stock control, merchandising, team management, and driving sales and profitability—all while ensuring the highest standards in product quality and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Stock Control & Shrinkage**:Order & Maintain accurate inventory, oversee stocktakes, and manage shrinkage effectively.
- **Pricing & Markdowns**:Ensure products are ticketed correctly, execute markdowns efficiently, and maintain up-to-date pricing.
- **Sales & Profitability**:Drive department performance through effective merchandising and promotional planning.
- **Visual Merchandising**:Ensure all fresh areas are clean, organised, and visually appealing in line with company standards.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise, train, and develop team members to deliver high performance and exceptional service.
- **Customer Engagement**:Provide a welcoming shopping experience by addressing customer needs and promoting fresh products.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Previous experience in retail management or supervision, ideally within fresh food or supermarket settings
- Strong knowledge of stock management, shrinkage control, and markdown procedures
- Proven ability to drive sales and meet performance targets
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Customer-first attitude with a passion for fresh food
- Flexibility to work across weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
**Working Conditions**:

- Physically active role - standing for extended periods and occasional heavy lifting
- Exposure to varying temperatures in fresh food areas
