The next era of digital marketing is being built right now. We're looking for someone who wants to help write it.

Most digital agencies say they're "embracing AI." Living Online is actually building with it, and we need a senior marketer who can help lead the charge.

We're a Perth-based, multi‐award‐winning digital marketing agency with 16 years of runs on the board and a clear‐eyed view of where this industry is heading. Right now, we're in the middle of something genuinely exciting: rebuilding our marketing practice from the ground up around AI‐native tools, automated systems, and the kind of strategic capability that most agencies are still years away from.

We're looking for a Lead Digital Marketing Consultant – a senior operator who's technically exceptional across the full digital stack, energised by AI and emerging technology, and ready to work on problems that don't have obvious answers yet.

What This Role Actually Looks Like:

This isn't a management role where you graduate away from the work. You'll be deep in complex client campaigns — SEO, Google Ads, Meta, email, analytics — while simultaneously owning strategy, leading client relationships, and shaping how we build our AI‐powered marketing systems.

You'll report directly to the Head of Digital and work across a portfolio of ambitious clients with real growth challenges. Your peers will be some of the sharpest people in the industry.

You'll own the hard problems

Multi‐channel campaigns with serious complexity, serious budgets, and serious expectations. No one's going to hand you a template and a brief. You'll be expected to diagnose, strategise, and execute autonomously. When a campaign isn't working, you're the one who figures out why. When a client has an ambiguous growth challenge, you're the one who defines what solving it actually looks like.

You'll run the room

From campaign planning through to execution, you'll lead projects end‐to‐end, setting the strategy, directing resources, managing timelines, and holding yourself and the team accountable to outcomes. You understand both the operational and commercial reality of agency work: how to hit this quarter's numbers while building something that compounds over time.

Your clients will rely on you

You'll be the primary relationship holder for complex accounts – the person clients call when something matters. Not to escalate, but because they trust your judgement implicitly. You'll run strategy sessions, navigate difficult conversations, spot growth opportunities before clients do, and retain and grow accounts through the quality of your work and the depth of your relationships.

You'll raise the standard.

As a senior member of the consulting team, how you work becomes the benchmark. You'll challenge and support the people around you, and contribute to how the agency develops its capabilities.

You'll help build what comes next.

This industry is moving fast and we're moving faster. You'll contribute to the research and development of new AI‐powered tools, automation frameworks, and strategic methodologies, actively shaping how Living Online delivers for clients and how the wider industry will eventually catch up.

Who We're Looking For:

The non‐negotiables:

* 8+ years in digital marketing, preferably with genuine agency experience.
* Expert‐level, hands‐on capability across SEO, Google Ads, Meta/Social Ads, email marketing, analytics, and reporting. Not strategic oversight, but actual execution.
* Based in Perth (this is a hybrid role with in‐office time each week)
* Genuinely excited about AI, not as a buzzword, but as something you're actively experimenting with and thinking hard about.

What will set you apart:

* You've used AI tools to meaningfully change how you work, and you can talk specifically about how.
* Advanced GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio proficiency.
* Experience across the broader digital ecosystem: UX, web, copy, creative – enough to lead a room with confidence.
* Tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, or related disciplines; postgraduate study is a genuine plus.
* A track record of retaining and growing complex client relationships.
