Where you'll be working
This local health district provides services for approximately 400,000 people. It is one of the region's largest employers with a workforce of more than 8,500 staff. They operate eight hospital sites and provide community health services from approximately 58 locations across the region.
You will work at a comprehensive mental health service that comprises inpatient, community, rehabilitation, accommodation services, and specialist programs. It encompasses a large geographical area with a broad diversity of populations. Working across a Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC) and its associated emergency department(s) within the Adult Inpatient Stream, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a collaborative environment and provide leadership within the multidisciplinary environment that includes psychiatry registrars and clinical nurse consultants.

Consultant Psychiatrists can expect a competitive salary in line with the NSW Award.
Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), or equivalent.
