Medihire & Sales (MH&S;) is a leading WA-owned and operated retail sales and hire company specializing in assistive technology, mobility products, and home care aids for the aged, disabled, infirm, and post-surgery consumer markets. MH&S; has been serving the Perth community for over 25 years from four store locations, and we are very proud of our range of quality products, reputation for service, sound advice, and excellent customer outcomes.
We presently have an opening for a permanent part-time Retail Sales/Customer Service Consultant.
Approximately 18-20 hours per week on average (includes Saturdays 9 am-noon).
The person we are seeking needs to be mature in attitude, patient and possess sound knowledge and experience in retail sales, customer service and general day-to-day shop management and maintenance.
Previous experience in the home health care and mobility sector will be highly regarded.
The position requires some manual handling and light product assembly.
Flexibility and own transportation for secondment between our four store locations is essential.
It is preferred that the successful applicant has developed skills in the following areas:
· Computer literacy
· Sound customer service orientation
· Positive communication skills - both written and oral
· Initiative – self starter
· Able to work both alone and in a small team environment
· Ability to function well under pressure
· Attention to detail
