With national operations and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability, this organisation offers exposure to complex projects and high-quality legal work.
About the Role: Reporting to the General Counsel, this role will see you advise on all stages of the development lifecycle—from site acquisition to delivery, financing, sales, and asset management—across multiple states.
You will be a key legal partner to the business, contributing to strategic initiatives and enabling successful project execution.
This is a rare opportunity to join a values-driven team with meaningful involvement in nationally significant property projects.
Key Responsibilities: Advise on project acquisition documentation, including sale contracts, options, and development agreements.
Support joint ventures, capital partnerships, and project financing transactions.
Draft and negotiate construction contracts, consultancy agreements, and supply contracts.
Advise on marketing, residential sales contracts, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Manage commercial and retail leasing and disposals of completed assets.
Assist with residential purchaser issues, defects claims, and disputes.
Collaborate with internal and external advisers across regulatory, tax, and insurance matters.
Maintain internal signing authorities, delegations and legal precedents.
Deliver legal training and updates across the broader business.
About You: 8+ years' PQE, ideally gained in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
Strong background in property development and construction law, including disputes.
Commercial, proactive, and comfortable managing a broad legal portfolio.
Skilled in drafting, stakeholder engagement, and navigating complex transactions.
Admitted to practise in Australia with a current practising certificate.
