The Role

Reporting directly to the Group Marketing Manager, you will be joining the Marketing team at the Beacon Lighting Group, where you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and executing innovative strategies and activities to achieve traffic, sales and growth targets of the trade category.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of Trade marketing campaigns across all channels
• Coordinate with Digital and eCommerce teams for campaign alignment
• Plan and execute targeted Trade events for key audiences (Electricians, Builders, Interior Designers)
• Create Trade-specific collateral (catalogues, brochures, signage, merchandise)
• Support product marketing and Trade range launches
• Develop and brief content for Trade social media channels
• Assist with influencer partnerships and campaign integration
• Manage Trade sponsorships and partnerships (e.g., Triple M, SEN, Western Bulldogs)
• Oversee community outreach initiatives for Trade
• Track and report on Trade Membership metrics
• Manage Trade Radio campaigns (briefing, scheduling, approvals)
• Oversee in-store Trade displays and POS materials
• Handle Trade-branded merchandise (e.g., workwear, coffee cups, stubby holders)
• Ensure internal store teams are briefed and supplied with campaign materials
• Attend Trade photoshoots and coordinate scripts/talent
• Brief artwork to designers and manage workflow / WIP
• Develop presentations for the Monthly Managers Meeting and present when required (including interstate travel when applicable)

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field
• Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively within teams
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of media and marketing best practices
• Good knowledge of various marketing channels, including digital, social media, traditional media and sponsorships
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders
