* Join the Aboriginal Languages Trust as a Project Officer, Closing the Gap (Targeted)
* Clerk Grade 7/8 role base salary ($113,574 - $125,720)
* Temporary role until 1 August 2028 based in Mascot, NSW.

About the Role

The Aboriginal Languages Trust promotes, reawakens, and supports the growth of Aboriginal languages across NSW. As a not‑for‑profit agency within the Premier's Department, it leads coordinated policy and community‑driven initiatives that strengthen cultural identity and advance language revitalisation statewide.

As the Project Officer, Closing the Gap (Targeted), you will assist in developing and maintaining systems, policies and procedures to support effective team operations, whilst providing high quality secretariate duties.

We're Looking For

* Policy analysis and research: Conduct research, analyse complex policy issues, identify emerging risks, and develop evidence‑based solutions.
* Secretariate Support: Provide high quality secretariate support whilst maintaining exceptional organisational skills.

* Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support collaborative policy development and informed decision‑making.

* Project and policy monitoring: Monitor, evaluate and report on policy and project progress to identify issues and ensure outcomes are achieved.

* Communication and documentation: Prepare high‑quality correspondence, reports, briefs and publications aligned with agency requirements.
