We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to join our team in a permanent part-time role, based in Cairns with regular travel across Greater North Queensland. This position supports licensed venues and operations throughout the region and offers a clear pathway toward full-time employment with a national security provider.This is a hybrid role, combining hands-on security and crowd control shifts with leadership, compliance, and client-facing responsibilities.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for:Supervising and supporting a team of security officers across Cairns and Greater North QLDLiaising directly with clients, venue managers, and stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with licensing, training, and operational standardsConducting site audits every Friday and Saturday nightCompleting mid-week security and crowd control shifts as requiredSupporting staff training, performance management, and operational consistencyAssisting with business development and client retention across the region
About YouTo be successful in this role, you must hold:Current QLD Security LicenceCurrent First Aid & CPRCurrent RSAOwn reliable transport and willingness to travel throughout North QLDStrong leadership, communication, and reporting skillsA professional, solutions-focused approach to client service and compliancePrevious experience supervising security teams in licensed venues, crowd control, or event environments will be highly regarded.
