About the Role Grade Level (for internal use): 10 Divisional Account Manager - Pacific Region (Sydney).
You will manage existing client accounts with a focus on net revenue growth, selling and retaining the book of business, and delivering a positive client experience.
As a primary commercial lead you will participate in business development, go to market initiatives, market outreach for new products, client campaigns, and thought leadership events.
Responsibilities Drive new revenue through new sales and price increases, ensuring timely renewals and building a stable sales pipeline.
Partner with sales specialists and cross functional teams to identify, sell, and close opportunities for S&P Global Market Intelligence services, serving as the central point of contact.
Voice the customer's needs internally and champion growth-oriented culture to achieve objectives.
Build strong relationships with senior client executives, becoming their trusted partner and creating awareness of existing and new offerings.
Work with internal stakeholders to proactively assess and address user needs, driving the best possible client experience.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of sales and/or relationship management experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
Proven track record of closing deals and leading negotiations to drive revenue growth across client accounts.
Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial attitude, and ability to manage risks and maximize opportunity within a defined book of business.
Deep knowledge of Commercial Lending and the Financial Services Industry.
Excellent problem solving, analytical capabilities, and presentation & communication skills (face to face, large groups, virtual).
Team player who collaborates with sales teams and global counterparts to put account plans in place and meet objectives.
