Who we are looking for
* Strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, VMware), Windows Server administration, RHEL and OEL administration, SOE development, VMware, scripting and automation, and ITIL best practices.
* You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide strategic input to enhance infrastructure support processes, including the SOE development, delivery and sustainment process.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with cross‐functional teams to capture SOE requirements.
* Develop a high‐level design for new server builds, sustainment strategy, roadmap, patching and major version upgrades.
* Develop Windows, RHEL and OEL images as per the captured requirements.
* Deploy test VMs and facilitate cross‐functional testing.
* Transition the SOE images to the BAU/operations team.
* Lead and manage a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators, ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
* Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure‐related incidents, problem management, and change implementation.
Additional Requirements
Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we require candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance.
On‐call and Shift Expectations: Positions are focused on managed services, requiring maintenance and improvement of clients' IT systems. Flexibility and adaptability are key; you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support and may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after‐hours deployment activities as needed.
