Home care workers are essential in supporting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer. We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team in the Bathurst area.
This role involves providing home help services such as:
* General housekeeping and making beds.
* Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
* Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
* Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
You will also provide personal care services including:
* Assisting clients with mobility and therapy goals.
* Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.
* Providing social and emotional support.
* Transporting clients to lifestyle activities or appointments.
* Supporting family carers by giving them a break or opportunity to do other things.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
* Can build positive relationships with clients and their families.
* Cares about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer.
* Is comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems.
A valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle is required. Experience of 3 months or more in a similar role is preferred.
