ABOUT THE ROLE
Join Dendrobium Coal Preparation Plant based in Port Kembla to help deliver quality coal products to local and export customers. Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll work in a team to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant performance by monitoring and adjusting the process, carrying out inspections and maintenance tasks as required. This is a rotating 12-hour (day/night) shift role, which includes weekends.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
* Inspecting plant equipment and monitoring coal preparation processes
* Diagnosing and resolving plant performance issues
* Performing routine electrical maintenance and cleaning tasks
* Conducting sampling and manual process adjustments
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
* Working in a process or heavy industrial/manufacturing plant environment
* Following safety standards and identifying non-conformances
* Performing hands-on electrical maintenance tasks
Qualifications, skills, and competencies:
* Certificate III in Engineering – Electrical Trade
* NSW Electrical Qualified Supervisor Certificate / Contractor Licence
* Forklift licence desirable but not essential
* SAP experience desirable but not essential
* Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position
