About The Role
About the role
You will be based at Dendrobium Mine and will be responsible for delivering and improving hygiene systems, standards, and risk controls across our Illawarra operations. Your insights and direction will drive compliance with legal and internal standards, enabling safer, healthier work environments. You'll provide specialist advice and deliver strategic initiatives in a dynamic, collaborative mining setting.
Other Key Responsibilities Include, But Aren’t Limited To
* Develop & enhance hygiene standards, procedures & tools.
* Analyse exposure data to inform risk mitigation strategies.
* Deliver first-line assurance on hygiene projects & controls.
* Support deployment of hygiene initiatives across operations.
* Communicate risk profiles & compliance insights to stakeholders.
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
* Influencing internal stakeholders using data insights.
* Driving improvement initiatives within a heavy industry setting.
* Working independently and prioritising across multiple sites.
* Building strong, inclusive relationships across locations.
* Previous experience in a mining, industrial or manufacturing plant environment would be preferred.
You Will Require The Following Qualifications, Skills, And Competencies
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in science, safety, or engineering.
* Eligibility for membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists.
* Sound knowledge of hygiene standards, risk controls & assessment.
* Experience managing safety or hygiene in operational environments
