Our Spiritual Care Coordinator plays a vital role in offering compassionate, person‑centred care. You'll be part of creating a truly holistic care experience, supporting individuals to connect with meaning, purpose, and community.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing tailored emotional and spiritual support.
* Supporting individuals through grief, illness, and end-of-life experiences.
* Helping people connect with what gives them meaning, purpose, and comfort.
* Planning and coordinating memorial services, reflections, and visits from community groups.
* Sharing wellbeing insights through care planning, meetings, and documentation.
* Recruiting, mentoring, and supporting volunteers who contribute to resident and client wellbeing.
Schedule: 16hrs / fortnight, any day Monday to Friday. 9am‑5pm.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 Unit of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) or equivalent.
* Experience in aged care pastoral/spiritual care.
* Understanding of person‑centred care principles.
* Compassionate and reflective listener with strong interpersonal skills.
* Experience supporting volunteers in a care setting (Desirable).
* Qualification in training and education (Desirable).
