Deliver a high-level of Testing expertise to support our client operating in the financial industry. Our client is a leading provider of financial solutions, operating across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Serving a diverse customer base, including corporate, government, and small businesses, our client is currently undergoing a transformation and expansion project to increase their customer base and market share within the industry.
Located in Pymble, this is a great opportunity for someone passionate about Project Support that is looking for an immediate start. The initial contract is for a 12-month duration with prospects for permanency.
About the Role
As a Test Analyst, you will deliver comprehensive testing activities that ensure stable software releases, protect production systems from defects, and enhance the end-user experience.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Deliver and execute test plans across various phases, including functional, integration, and UAT.
* Create, document, and manage test cases, including smoke and regression tests.
* Log and triage defects, re-test fixes, and ensure accurate traceability and documentation.
* Generate and manage test data; build reusable regression and end-to-end test suites.
* Participate in Agile development processes, such as Scrum and Kanban.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Test Analyst in complex technical environments with multiple integrations.
* Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
* Experience in UAT planning, coordination, and defect management.
* Hands-on expertise with open-source test automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.
* Effective communication skills to articulate defects and escalate issues when necessary.
* Proactive in prioritizing defects to maintain a smooth testing flow.
