On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

MANDATORY:
* Registered Nurse (RN) holding current registration with AHPRA
* Current certificate IV in Training and Development or relevant post-graduate qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in specialty area of nursing
* Evidence of recent clinical experience.
* Train the trainer certificate, or willingness to undertake the same.
* Competencies specific to area of practice-refer to Section 7.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Understanding of Aged Care funding model and requirements (Aged Care only)
* A valid Police Check
* Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with the Secretary Department of Health Directions
DESIRABLE:
* Post-Graduate qualifications in education or relevant clinical speciality or working towards same.
* Current certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant post-graduate qualifications
* Advanced Life Support competency (not required in Aged Care)
* Evidence of professional and personal development.
* Effective support and development of staff.
* Ability to participate in the recruitment and selection process
* Ability to participate in the performance management process.
* Effective communication
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Commitment to the principles of quality management and evidence-based practice on nursing
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Ability to perform as a sole practitioner.
* Self-directed.
