Responsibilities
We seek an exceptional
Senior Solution Consultant
(Presales) based in Australia to join our growing team. This role reports to our Director, Solutions Consulting
ANZ
and plays an integral role in creating a vision for our customers. It will also serve as a trusted advisor on Workato’s AI Agentic capabilities, providing thought leadership, best practices, and helping scale and drive adoption to achieve strategic initiatives.
Successful candidates must be able to articulate technology and communicate the value of Workato’s products to prospective business and technical users, focusing on enterprise applications. You will also help shape the product and company direction by communicating market needs to the Product Management team.
As a
Senior Solutions Consultant, you will be part of Workato’s Presales Team and Architecture community, owning the technical alignment with the customer during the pre-sales lifecycle through workshops and interactions that define the customer’s future state for AI and Agentics.
This is an Asia-based role. Proximity to Singapore is preferred.
In this role, you will enable clients to become proficient with Workato’s Agentic Platform, empowering their employees and building AI Agent solutions for their business.
You will also be responsible to:
Collaborate with cross-functional customer teams, including data scientists, software engineers, AI leaders, and architects, to demonstrate how Workato Agentic can transform their work.
Work closely with Sales AEs, Solution Architects, and other teams to evangelize our AI capabilities, approach to delivering Workato Agent solutions, and architecture tailored to customer AI use cases.
Educate audiences on AI, Generative AI, and Agentics architectural concepts, including digital leaders, AI engineers, prompt developers, data architects, enterprise architects, IT operations, marketing, finance, and HR teams.
Assist sales teams with technical discovery and architect/build AI blueprints using Workato products.
Create and deliver custom demonstrations and use cases for AI Agentic solutions.
Support solution accounts with technical workshops and proof of concepts (POCs), on-site or remote.
Respond to RFIs/RFPs' functional and technical elements.
Gather feedback from the field, analyze, and relay insights to product management and engineering for the AI product roadmap.
Support marketing activities, including writing blogs, participating in webinars, and speaking at industry events.
Stay updated on latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related tools, integrating them into development projects.
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field, or equivalent hands-on AI development experience.
Proven AI Engineer track record with successful projects.
6-10 years of pre-sales experience in SaaS or iPaaS organizations.
Familiarity with LLMs and experience supporting chat-based AI applications.
Strong understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, function calling, and related techniques to enhance LLM performance.
Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Amazon Bedrock, and Anthropic APIs.
Experience with iPaaS technologies, middleware, integration patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, SDKs, and databases.
Knowledge of Python programming or familiarity with object-oriented programming.
Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics
Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
Excellent presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences.
Leadership in architectural discussions.
Passion for technology and business impact.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
