We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of Vietnamese food, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.
Location: The vibrant Melbourne Quarter precinct in Docklands.
Hours of work are between 7 AM – 3 PM Monday to Friday.
Commencement date: End of June to mid-July 2025.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of food
* Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
* Assist in the receiving and storage of food supplies
* Follow all health and safety standards and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
Qualifications & Abilities:
* Minimum 2 years experience in a kitchen environment, with Vietnamese cuisine (preferred)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail, quality and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
