About The Role
You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and will occasionally be required to attend other facilities within Sydney Local Health District. In this position, you will provide advanced level Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clinical counselling and organisational services for SLHD staff and managers, including crisis intervention, short‐term counselling, management consultation, 1:1 and group supervision, mentoring and staff development, and Post‐Traumatic Incident consultation and support. This role assists Sydney LHD to meet the requirements of Employee Assistance Programs, ACHS Accreditation and WHS standards.
Ideal Candidate
* Social Worker: Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the AASW, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
* Psychologist: Must hold qualifications recognised for full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Clinical Psychologist: Current registration to practice as a Psychologist, endorsement or working towards endorsement in Clinical Psychology and/or eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and ACPA, with a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
* Advanced clinical knowledge, skill, and significant experience in providing confidential professional counselling, including interventions regarding work‐related difficulties with individuals and groups.
* Experience and skills in providing workplace support, training and team development services to staff and managers in circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills, and the ability to operate independently with minimal direct supervision.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
