About the role
We are currently onboarding a Senior Project Engineer, to join the delivery team on the ground, as initial construction works and planning commences. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a vital role working within the entirety of the project. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing various engineering activities, ensuring the project is delivered successfully and in adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
Key Expected Responsibilities
Project Management – including but not limited to: lead and manage engineering activities, including planning, scheduling, collaboration and coordination, to ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved.
Project Leadership – by closely with Project Manager, you will create strong performing cohesive teams of people with varying skill sets, making the performance and growth of the team a priority.
Design Management – by identifying key design and delivery issues and risks within disciplines and preparing mitigation and resolution strategies to review with the Project Manager & Senior Leadership Team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will also understand key delivery points in the design process to effectively integrate the design program with the procurement and construction programs.
Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: assisting the broader leadership and delivery team with programming, quality and contract management, subcontractor management and administration, stakeholder management, and health, safety and quality assurance.
What we're looking for
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Significant demonstrated experience in project engineering roles, preferably in large-scale building projects.
* Proven track record in managing and delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
* Sound understanding of safety regulations and commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
