Senior Advisor, Strategic Ventures
The Senior Advisor, Strategic Ventures is responsible for leading strategic ventures and setting the university's directional course.
They oversee comprehensive venture evaluations, ensure every consultation and implementation endeavour meets the highest standards, and continually align ventures with the university's long-term vision.
* Design the functional structure and execution of new ventures and partnerships, working closely with the Strategy Portfolio and senior stakeholders
* Execute consultation formats for launching new concepts including internal consultation events such as workshops, Town Halls, and presentations to key stakeholders across the University, and identifying approaches to key external influencers, funding partners and collaborators
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of international programs against strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with global education standards and sustainable development frameworks
* Design and implement cross-cultural programs that align with the University's strategic goals and global engagement priorities, ensuring relevance and responsiveness to diverse international contexts
* Engage stakeholders across international contexts, to ensure inclusive and locally informed program design and implementation
About You
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience of strategy development and planning and the implementation, delivery and ongoing management of strategic initiatives
* Demonstrated experience providing strong and adaptable leadership and direction to a diverse team
* Extensive experience in consulting, business case development and design of transformational projects
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the analysis of the performance of business models, including operational and financial analysis
* Project management experience including the successful delivery of complex projects of international scope gained within a complex, diverse, multi-cultural sector
* Awareness of emerging and effective sector related trends, including the research and education policy and funding landscape and performance nationally and internationally, together with government objectives and priorities
* Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and representational skills including a track record of working effectively in a cross-cultural context to enhance international networks and establish strategic relationships
