We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Accounting Officer to support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring efficient office operations, and completing tasks promptly. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end processes, while also contributing to ESG initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Duties
* Assist finance functions, including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset management, and month-end activities.
* Assist with Accounts Payable duties, including processing invoices, credit card transactions, onboarding new suppliers, and maintaining the credit master file.
* Assist with Accounts Receivable duties, raising of invoices, following up on overdue payments, onboarding customers & maintaining the receivable master file.
* Review accuracy and the process of credit card monthly disbursements.
* Perform bank reconciliations as required
* Assist with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
* Assist with external audits, process/software changes and other ad hoc finance duties as required.
Skills & Experience
* A chartered accountant (CPA, CA ANZ, ACCA) qualification is mandatory.
* General Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger Knowledge
* 1-3 years of finance accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
* Knowledge of ERP accounting software (eg. Pronto) and Microsoft programs.
