Position summary Neptune Security Services NT is seeking a skilled and motivated Developer Programmer to design, develop, test, and maintain cutting-edge cyber security software. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening system security, detecting vulnerabilities, and delivering high-performance applications tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and maintain cyber security software applications
* Write, modify, integrate, and test code in line with system requirements
* Develop secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities and cyber threats
* Analyse user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
* Perform software debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
* Integrate security tools, APIs, and third-party systems
* Conduct regular system testing, including penetration and vulnerability testing
* Maintain technical documentation for software development and updates
* Collaborate with internal teams to improve system functionality and security posture
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field
* At least 3 years of relevant work experience
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar
* Experience with cyber security frameworks, encryption, and secure coding practices
* Knowledge of databases, system architecture, and API integration
* Familiarity with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
