NBH is looking to hire a Data Analyst to join our professional Finance team. Participate in a diverse range of hospital projects and bring your excellent analytical skills to provide reconciliation and quality improvement.
Responsibilities
* Core daily and monthly reporting of data for both in-house purposes, and reporting to the state and other governing bodies
* Conducting and organizing clinical audits for clinical outcome KPI data
* Assist with data quality and reconciliation including undertaking testing of data queries
* Working in partnership with IT team to develop new reports for the site
* Ad-hoc reporting as required by the business, including clinical, operational and finance
Selection Criteria
* Relevant degree in Health Information Management or significant experience in health data management with experience in working in an acute hospital and have skills in Excel and SQL
* Strong administrative and document management skills
* Superior computer skills including Excel and database management
* Ability to solve problems independently and seek help from appropriate resources.
* Knowledge of data collection techniques, statistical concepts and computer applications
* Demonstrated strong analytical skills and an understanding of healthcare performance and quality indicators
