The successful candidate will ideally possess the following :
Experience and Qualities
* 3+ years' welding experience
* Experience in welding is a must and experience in pile cage is highly regarded
* Have strong communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
* Ability to work effectively and competently with people at all levels in the organisation,
* Contribute on an on‑going basis toward maintaining a safe working environment both for yourself and for those working with you or in your close vicinity,
* Ability to work to deadlines and see tasks through to completion,
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
* Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Your daily duties will include
* Interpret blueprints and drawings for welding requirements
* Determine the layout for welding operations required
* Determine the appropriate welding procedure and equipment
* Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc
* Conduct welding inspections to ensure weld quality is of the highest standard
