Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate to join our team as a Heritage Consultant. This role requires a deep understanding of technical management and compliance, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in heritage consulting, with a focus on renewables or infrastructure projects. They will also possess a strong understanding of NSW heritage legislation and approvals processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare Heritage Impact Statements (HIS) and Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMPs)
2. Conduct Aboriginal and historical heritage assessments, including field surveys and stakeholder consultation
3. Engage with Traditional Owner groups, government agencies, and industry stakeholders
4. Provide strategic advice on heritage compliance in NSW
Qualifications and Experience
* Honours or equivalent degree in Archaeology, Heritage Management, or related discipline
* Minimum 9 years of experience in heritage consulting, with a focus on renewables or infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of NSW heritage legislation and approvals processes
