We are a small, values-driven not-for-profit seeking a Financial Controller to support our organisation's financial management. This role would suit someone recently qualified (CA/CPA or equivalent) who wants exposure to a broader finance function while working in a role with a manageable scope and limited operational burden.
About the Role Reporting to the leadership team, the Financial Controller will oversee core financial processes and ensure strong financial governance. The role is intentionally light in operational complexity, making it ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining high standards while contributing strategically.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee monthly financial reporting and management accounts
* Maintain financial controls, policies, and compliance
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Liaise with external accountants and auditors
* Provide financial insights to support organisational decision-making
* Ensure compliance with not-for-profit financial regulations and reporting requirements
About You
* Qualified Accountant (CA / CPA or equivalent)
* Recently completed or near completion of Chartered/CPA training is welcome
* Strong financial reporting and technical accounting knowledge
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Interested in working in a purpose-driven, mission-focused organisation
* Comfortable working independently within a small team
