If so, an exciting opportunity is now available for two Lecturers in Occupational Therapy to join our growing team at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ). With increasing student numbers, a new campus offering, and expanded teaching requirements, these continuing positions play a vital role in delivering high?quality Occupational Therapy education within the School of Health, Psychological and Medical Sciences.
What you'll do
You will directly contribute to the growth and success of UniSQ’s Occupational Therapy program, playing a central part in shaping student learning, strengthening the discipline, and supporting the continued expansion of offerings at our Toowoomba and Ipswich campuses. In particular, you will:
* Deliver high?quality, evidence?informed teaching that engages students and embeds inclusion, employability and contemporary digital learning approaches.
* Develop and apply reflective scholarly teaching practices to continually improve teaching effectiveness.
* Engage in externally funded research projects and produce research outputs in alignment with relevant Centre/Institutes research agendas and areas of University research strength (Teaching and Research position).
* Provide supervision to Honours and postgraduate research students, supporting their progression and timely completion (Teaching and Research position).
Appointments will be made as either an Education Specialist or Teaching and Research, depending on whether your experience and interests lie in teaching excellence or in balancing teaching with active research. Please refer to the attached position descriptions for further information.
What will help you succeed
* Completion of a doctoral or master’s qualification in Occupational Therapy as well as relevant clinical experience.
* Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an occupational therapist.
* Demonstrated experience in delivering engaging and high-quality teaching in Occupational Therapy that produces the best possible outcomes for students and employability in industry.
* Demonstrated experience in engaging in research that provides the opportunity to collaborate with others, seeks to attract funding to support research, advances knowledge, and engages with industry
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective professional relationships.
Experience in the areas of practice education, paediatrics, or adult physical practice will be highly regarded.

Salary: Total full-time remuneration range $133,256 to $157,504 pa (includes salary range of $112,381 to $132,831 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
