Role Summary
The Executive General Manager Marketing is a key member of the leadership team and provides strategic advice to the CEO and the Board's Marketing Stakeholder and Customer Experience Sub‐Committee. The role shares collective accountability for organisational performance and contributes to enterprise‐wide decision‐making, strategy development and execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop the marketing strategy and provide leadership across brand, customer insights, marketing communications, digital and performance marketing, and demand generation.
* Ensure Spirit of Tasmania's value proposition is clearly articulated and consistently delivered across all customer touchpoints.
* Ensure marketing investment delivers measurable commercial and customer outcomes.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders and a broad range of external partners, representing Spirit of Tasmania across key industry, tourism and trade forums.
* Strengthen and protect the organisation's market presence and reputation.
Qualifications & Experience
* Commercially astute executive with extensive experience leading high‐performing marketing teams, ideally within tourism, hospitality or a similarly complex, customer‐focused environment.
* Strong strategic capability, well‐developed customer and market insight, and a proven ability to translate strategy into effective, integrated marketing activity.
* Collaborative leadership style, strong stakeholder engagement skills and highly developed communication and influence skills.
