Southern Cross Care NSW/ACT is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with leadership skills to join our team as Deputy Residential Manager based in Young facility.

The Role
This role offers the opportunity to contribute positively to team work to achieve operational outcomes and promote a positive workplace culture in alignment with our Values, Mission and Vision.
* Plan and direct the provision of high quality personal and clinical care to enhance the security, welfare and wellbeing of residents.
* Liaise and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure effective and efficient workflow.
* Comply with and contribute to Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Degree in Nursing or Tertiary qualifications in Aged Care are required.
* Experience in a relieving leadership/supervisory role is necessary.
* Good interpersonal and written English communication skills are essential.
* Ability to play an active and positive role as part of our Care Team, providing quality care and support to frail aged people.
* Sound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care Facilities is required.
* Sound understanding of, and ability to correctly apply, relevant principles of the Fair Work Act.
