About the role
The Swim School Teacher/Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Swim and Survive Program, the Goldfishbowl Program, Infants, Adult Programs and assisting with Sport as required. This includes ensuring effective program delivery, client service, and team coordination.
* Lead and coordinate the delivery of swimming and water safety lessons and programs.
* Drive program participation and success by coordinating schedules, resources, and staff.
* Utilize expertise in aquatics program delivery and client service to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Engage with clients, schools, and community groups to promote programs and address inquiries.
* Support a positive team environment, provide guidance to swim teachers, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
What you will need to succeed
In order to take up this great opportunity, the successful applicant will require the following skills and experience:
* AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety qualification and AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant & Pre-school Aquatics qualification or ability to obtain
* Knowledge & understanding of First Nations communities and culture
* Knowledge & understanding of multi-cultural communities
* Preferred to have previous experience in the aquatic industry
* Experience in the delivery and coordination of services, programs, and training.
* Strong organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
