Chef – Falvey's Hotel Yamanto
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum (plus superannuation).
Position: Full time, Permanent.
Location: Falvey's Hotel Yamanto (part of Falvey Investments Pty Ltd).
We are looking for an experienced chef to join our team.
The role includes leadership, dish costing, procedure implementation, support the leadership team with daily operations, and contribute to dish development.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present food (or delegate to kitchen staff).
Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers.
Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
Communicate with managers and supervisors on preparation and service issues.
Ensure kitchen staff follows directives and is accountable for food service.
Ensure food preparation and quality meet the highest standards.
Key Requirements
At least one year of relevant employment experience.
Relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for food.
Commitment to excellent customer service.
Strong work ethic.
Adherence to all Food Health and Safety Regulations.
Position Offers
Full-time hours.
Permanent position.
Competitive salary ($70,000–$80,000) plus superannuation.
