Job Overview
This role focuses on supporting Aboriginal communities in promoting health and wellbeing through clinical and community programs.
The Maternal and Child Health Nurse provides direct patient contact and clinical support, including immunisations, maternal screening, and parenting advice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical and community-based services to promote the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal mothers and children;
* Develop and implement culturally sensitive health programs to meet the needs of the community;
* Work closely with local healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure effective service delivery;
Requirements:
* Registered nurse, EEN, or AHP with immunization qualification or willingness to obtain;
* Certified midwife or willing to obtain Midwifery certification;
* Possess a passion for Child and Family Health and an Accredited Child and Family Health Certificate;
* Immunization accreditation or willingness to obtain;
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders;
