This role sits within a busy Asset Management team and supports the operational upkeep of residential properties ranging from standalone homes through to medium and high density buildings. If you enjoy working across both field based inspections and contractor coordination, this position offers a strong mix of variety, impact, and stability. The Opportunity You will play a key role in ensuring properties and shared facilities remain safe, compliant, and presented to a high standard. This includes conducting inspections, coordinating maintenance, overseeing essential building services, and supporting the Asset Manager with accurate reporting and data management. The work you do directly contributes to the quality of homes and communities across the portfolio. This role suits someone with experience across property maintenance, facilities coordination, or building services who enjoys balancing on site work with structured administration and contractor oversight. Key Responsibilities Carry out property inspections, PCRs, routine assessments, and compliance checks across allocated sites Coordinate responsive, cyclical, and planned maintenance programs Oversee essential building services including fire, lifts, HVAC, security and common area upkeep Manage contractor performance, monitor response times, review workmanship, and check invoicing Support tendering and procurement processes for maintenance and facilities services Maintain accurate records in the Asset Management system, including inspection outcomes and contractor data Report risks, defects, and upgrade needs to the Asset Manager Ensure all work aligns with WHS, Social Housing Program Specifications, and relevant building compliance requirements About You 3 to 5 years of experience in property maintenance, facilities, building services, or housing asset management Confident in conducting property or facilities inspections and identifying maintenance needs Strong understanding of WHS requirements in field-based work Experience working with contractors and service providers Comfortable with digital systems and property or facilities software Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Current C Class driver's licence How to Apply If this role sounds like you, hit 'Apply Now' below or reach out to Hunter Macri on 0466 323 383 or hmacri@goughrecruitment.com.au Please note, due to high application numbers, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
