About the Opportunity
Good Cartel is hiring hands-on Front of House leaders across Supervisor to Café Manager level.
This is an established, high-volume operation with multiple departments under one roof (kitchen, bakery/pastry, gelato). FOH at Good Cartel is a production-led service team — not a single-station counter job.
FOH is responsible for the production and service of:
* Coffee menu
* Shake menu
* Cold-press juice menu
* Gelato and bakery/pastry service
* Coordinating the flow of short-order kitchen items into FOH service
We're open to different experience levels. Supervisors - Café Manager level applicants are encouraged to apply — we assess resumes on merit and will shape responsibility (and package) around proven capability and fit.
Trading hours: 7 days | 6:00am – 9:00pm
Shift changeover: typically 2:00pm – 3:00pm
The Role
Depending on experience, you will take responsibility for:
* Supervising workflow across multiple stations (coffee / shakes / juice / gelato / bakery / counter)
* Consolidating and coordinating orders between kitchen and FOH (timing, communication, accuracy, handover)
* Moving between stations to relieve pressure and maintain service rhythm
* Coaching and leading a team during live service (calm, firm, fair)
* Upholding presentation and product standards across all FOH-produced items
* Maintaining clean, organised stations and structured handovers
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a FOH Supervisor / Shift Supervisor / Café Manager, or a senior operator ready to step up
* Confident running service and managing production flow across stations
* Strong communication and coordination between FOH and kitchen
* High standards around organisation, cleanliness, and accuracy
* Hands-on leadership style — leads from the floor
* Currently in Australia and ready to relocate to Broome
* Long-term mindset preferred; 12-month appointments considered for highly skilled applicants

* $63,835 – $70,000+ negotiable, depending on capability, scope, and responsibility level
