Role Overview The Digital and Communication Advisor manages and coordinates the City’s digital platforms including the corporate website and social media content.
The role provides expert advice and input into the City’s corporate communications by contributing to communications strategies and plans, particularly as they relate to maximising the reach and effectiveness of digital media.
The successful applicant will be working in an exciting and varied role in a dynamic work environment.
This position is being offered as a permanent, full-time role.
Key responsibilities Overseeing the management and governance of the city’s corporate website including the coordination and creation of content.
Coordinating the creation of informative, compelling and on-brand social media content by using innovative strategies to optimise audience engagement and action across all City of Fremantle social media channels (including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn).
Providing input into developing communications strategies and plans, particularly as they relate to maximising the reach and effectiveness of digital media.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing best practice improvements to the corporate website, social media and digital channels, and proactively liaise with staff across the organisation in the ongoing development, implementation and review of the City’s digital platforms including the corporate website and social media.
