Join our Network operations team and play a critical role in maintaining the health, stability, and performance of our internal and client IT environments. REDD is looking for a full-time technical engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced Managed Services environment and is passionate about high‑quality service delivery. About the Role As an infrastructure engineer, you will monitor and maintain incident response activities across our infrastructure and customer environments. You’ll work with a team of NOC engineers, provide technical support, and ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and optimised. This is a hands‑on role working closely with internal teams, clients, and our IT Managers and Service Desk. What You’ll Do Perform daily NOC operations, including monitoring, alert response, and incident resolution. Provide expert technical support and act as an escalation point for infrastructure issues. Coordinate after‑hours incident escalations and scheduled maintenance activities. Capacity planning, resource allocation, and documentation for internal and customer environments. Assist with project scoping, implementation, change management, and patching activities. Ensure compliance with internal standards, SLAs, and best‑practice procedures. What You’ll Bring 3 years’ experience in an infrastructure engineering role Strong experience with Microsoft Server environments (2012–2019), Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or AWS. Solid technical knowledge across virtualisation (Hyper‑V, VMware), networking (Unifi, Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet), SAN technologies, and backup solutions (Veeam). Familiarity with MSP tools such as ConnectWise or N‑Central. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, VBS) and remote desktop technologies (Citrix, RDS). Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, consistent updates to stakeholders. Previous experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is highly valued.
