Asset Backed Finance Team Buildout - Global Hedge Fund
We are working with a >$5bn global hedge fund, founded by a veteran investor with a strong record in credit and structured finance, to establish an asset-backed finance platform to cover APAC.
The firm is looking to build a new regional team to originate and manage asset-backed investments in the region across a range of collateral types. This is a strategic expansion aimed at deepening the firm’s engagement with banks, finance companies, and originators across the region.
The intention is to create a cohesive team with complementary skills across origination, structuring, and portfolio management and to integrate this activity within its wider global credit platform. We are open to discussions with individuals or existing teams already operating in the market.
The location within Asia-Pacific will be versatile, guided by team composition and regional coverage priorities.
Responsibilities (implied from description)
- Originate and manage asset-backed investments in the Asia-Pacific region across a range of collateral types.
